So something made you rave

ummm i finally just got too bored and nothing else was interesting me.


and i was curious as to why some of my friends were going..


so i went...first time...sober...and really liked it...

i always loved dancing and going to dances and stuff like that, and i always really wanted to go to a rave for some reason. my first rave was in toronto called " spring Bling" it was jungle, which was cool, but it was all of these wiggers and bitches so really not a good vibe. lol

I walked into my house after a long summer day. My dad handed me my stilts shoved a sandwich in my pocket and told me to follow him.... He drove to somewere in toronto helped me get up onto my stilts and put my CRAZY costume on and uh.... we walked in and danced all night... i think i was 10 or 11 at the time. And apperently i had been going to a party every summer that i just thought was my dad and his friends camping but really it was a rave... Yea the things you learnt you did when you were a baby lol :D I love my hippie of a dad

back in grade 9 there was this guy in my complex that me and my best friend were in love with... he made us mixed tapes of "rave music".... he eventually convinced my step mom to let him take us to a party....(he was best friends with his mom).. so we went... partied all night... i dont think i stopped dancing once.. he kept trying to get us to chill but all we wanted to do was dance...it was funny cause he was on e and we werent (i didnt even know what it was then) and we were going off!! so much fun... took a lil break from it all for a year or 2 cause my friends all ended up doing e all the time... i finally tried it myself when i was 21... my next mission is to head over to euro and party over there! :)

In grade 12 (1999-2000) my best friend started going to parties. She said I had to try it. My first party was Down at Fraggle Rock (March 2000 @ Riverside) with 20 kids from my grade and another 10 kids from other grades at our school. I went sober, had an awesome time, met lots of people and voila party friends! Grade 12 second semester was SUPER easy classes so each week I hit up Talk-Sick Tuesdays, Twister Thursdays (Java Joint) and 1-2 parties each weekend with my 3 best friends from school. [**I never really got into party drugs, so I'm not messed up from partying that hard!] Then in our classes (we had almost every class together) we would talk about parties and pass flyers back and forth. I was all over Lounge-X under the username kinderstar. I gave up the candy raver look after a couple months and started just dressing more comfortable/normal. I fell in love with jungle in the second room of Kismit (I think) and become a music snob from then on. Dnb bitch what? Partying slowed down a bit when I went back to school to do my Community Support Worker program, but then I started going again more when I met a couple girls in my program who partied. I joined fnk in 2003 when I was really bored... And now we're pretty much caught up to date!

since I heard this electronic music called "trance" Live @ The rage on Z95.3 back in '96 - i'm about the music, fuck the "rave scene" I jumped into it because that's unfortunatly the only place I can hear the music I love live with my friends.

friends convicned me how good it was, and it was couple buddies b-day so i went bought a ticket and now i enjoy the occasional rave....... i dont think i cam be called a raver, i just like to party hard from time to time.

i was at the beach about 4 or 5 summers ago with my friends and this guy was promoting Summer Love then he gave me and my friend a free wristband to go.....it was pretty good...i wasnt sure what i was really into at that time... i just liked being around so many people jus havin a good time...i didnt really get into raves right away cuz i didnt have very many friends that were into it ... i did about 2 years after that... ive met alot of really good people from parties and had really good/fucked up memories

k, well you see i got this bunch of friends (quite sexy-looking and awsome) and they saw my energy level at the school dances (which were horrible but i made do with what they played) so they were like hey you could with us to a few house parties so i tagged along and danced and had such a blast! back then i wasn't using anything. so they'd go away to raves and stuff and come back and tell me all their stories about how much fun they had and how many people were there so they got me all excited to go. i've lived in small towns all my life and this retirement town is a real drag when you have as much energy as me so the rave thought was exactly what i needed. they are all heading to NYE this year and i wish i could go but my cash flow has run dry so i wish to break my rave vigin-ness quite soon i'm thinkin Kiss is when i'll make my apperance:198: hope to see everyone there if i can make it
