HELP: Ppl that know cars

So I was driving to pick up a friend.. my car was parked in the freezing cold for a few hours. I get in, start the car, didn't really have time to warm it up :( I begin to reverse, I notice the car's having some difficulty. I drive down the street, and it felt like my car caught onto something and was dragging this behind, there was some freaky sounds too. It turns out my ebrake was pretty much stuck. I assume it froze.

Blah I know close to nothing about cars, but I drove around and decided to come back home. I think it felt it get loose (I hope it didn't break), and when I parked home, I could smell rubber burning.

Is my car seriously fucked now? :( Or was the ebrake jsut frozen, and it stuck, and if I start it later on and warm it up will it be fine?

I just took my car to the shop.

it's fine.. the smell is just because of your e-brake being on..

i've never heard of an ebrake freezing on
it could be stuck but i doubt it was frozen

Erwin, it was probably just stuck. It happened to my bf last winter, only his was permanently stuck, he paid like $25 to get it fixed.
