I remember most of these from Grade 8 or 9.... They're a bit on the tricky side but if you can think in algebraic terms, they're just elaborate systems. Heck, if you've got some post-secondary math under your belt you could save yourself some time and just use Matrices to solve 'em.

we are getting dumber... with computers and technology making things so much easier and convienient, people really don't have to push themselves for knowledge and skill anymore since we have the technology to do all the work for us.

the math on that test is pretty tough! i've done univeristy math n some of em i'd have issues getting done without a calculator!

the uk has always been ahead of north america when it comes to math though... i remember coming here from hong kong (which used the british system) for grade 8 and being completely stunned how behind and stupid canadians were with math.

but damn... 11 year olds doing that stuff over 100 years ago is pretty impressive.

I went through grade 10 spanish by going to the online translator before every test and writing an essay out and memorizing it.

My teacher was so pleased with my memorizational skills that she wouldn't even take off marks for missed punctuation. My spanish on paper was so elaborate that she would give me 10 out of 10 nearly every test.
