Slipknot is scary!

I hate the fact that my sister is a slipkont fan, all this music does is depress people when they listen to it all day everyday! She is 14 and doesn't go to school! I honestly believe that Slipknot plays a role in her aspect of the world:( And now they are having an all ages show? Why on earth would you want your 14 year old daughter at one of these shows. They should be 18+ so that they can't propagate the hatred to flowering sensitive minds *sob

hahaha i was listening to harder shit then slipknot when i was 12 and have for the past 10 years and i turned out A O K, i thinks its cool younger girls are digging the hardcore shit, and I highly doubt its the music thats cuasing ur little sisters problems.

I don't think it's the music she listens to that's the problem, it's more than likely something else. You might wanna talk to her about that, just a thought. Ever ask her why she likes em? It comes down to parenting, and if the parents aren't going to kick the kid's ass into high gear, you sure as hell can't blame the music/movies/media/video games for kids acting like total asshats.

that and drugs...i have a few friends now who have dropped out of school. completely wasting their life away in my opinion. there pretty heavy on DXM Jib....thats why they're where they are.

I talk to her all the time and she's my best friend. She tells me everything. She comes from a small island on the central coast, and didn't come to the city till she was 12. Before her "slipknot" phase, she wasn't suicidal, she was the dopest little punk ever. She told everyone at school that her name was Sidney......Viscious. This Slipknot phase had better end soon....I would hate to see her be the product of this distorted depressing culture:)

You sound like you beat your children....that's nice. All I say is that they shouldn't have Slipknot all ages shows. It's a total philisophical movement that you may not see when you are old enough to make these decisions for yourself, but children, going to a show like this, it will only mold them into being their "ideal image". It's actually a horrible thing to give a child the option at a young age to become a suicidal, world hating goth freak. If you were trying to help your child get on the right path and then some older dude that loved slipknot fucked your daughter and gave her music of this genre, I'm sure you wouldn't be all that stoked.
