FireFox or IE?

If you have IE I suggest you get FireFox. It's a lot better, definitly a lot more flexible, more themes, better interface, BETTER EVERYTHING!

What do you use?

I have both but still use IE more cuz Firefox doesn't seem much faster (it is a little faster) and FireFox does things a lttle different & takes some getting used to.

I'm on a Mac and I have both Safari and Firefox. Firefox is a little bit faster, but the I hate the layout, so I just mostly use Safari. IE sucks on ANY platform.

firefox blows IE out of the water. there are still lots of people who swear by IE because they haven't seen some of the things you can load into the browser, the customizing, the security etc etc .. not to mention, no tabbed browsing is reason enough to dump IE

i installed fireftp, is that the one you're talking about? pretty sweet. i'll use it a lot more now. i still like the native ftp support of IE, though, being able to drag and drop, etc. i think i saw a drag and drop extension for firefox too, though, will have to check it out.

Tabs rule!

IE is full of security holes as well. 'Hello hackers and malicious spyware, my browser is integrated with my entire operating system. welcome!'

I just got foxy tonight... My IE was fucking up beyond my tolerance, so Kam hooked me up. I'm much happier now :) it's speedy, and I like how it offered to import all my prefernces/settings/favourites/passwords etc *thumbs up* I also sped it up with Dabbler's suggestion. Goodstuff!

IE - way more DHTML support than firefox, however the downside - no png support and no css:hovering on stuff other than a elements. But IE is still my favorite browser, makes things harder for a web developer, which I like.

my fav things about firefox:

1. no spyware!
2. tabbed browsing
3. get yourself a decent mouse gesture plug in.

I go from tab to tab, back and forward, all that shit using mouse gestures i can't go back lol.
