Having a Boss that Encourages you :)

She's always thanking me and telling me "you rock"... Always making work alot more pleasant to come to every day. That's important. I love going to work at my Starbucks, because we're all friends and we get along really well with one another.

My store manager told me today she wants to start training me within the next month to become a Shift Supervisor at my work. I'd get a raise and be one of the 4 assisting shift supervisors currently running the store.

It was a really nice and encouraging thing to hear tonight, especially after a crazy day. She even emailed my district manager to recommend me for the position. It put alot of perspective into my job.. making me feel as though I'm actually working towards something.

Feels good to know your hard work pays off sometimes :)

Awsome job Christy, ... Im glad that your enjoying your work. It's always nice to make money. But especially when you really like doing so :P

I miss that about my second cup job... we were all friends and hung out all the time even with our manager.
Now its a little harder as most my co-workers are 20+ my age, but we still goof and joke around... especialy with the kids :y:
Totaly makes work enjoyable and somthing to look forward too... almost better than home :)

Yeah.. I have one of those bosses who likes to ask "Why didn't you do this??" "How come you didn't do it this way instead??" ETC ETC ETC.

You just start tuning it out after a while.. blah.
