it's a school in toronto...they have a really really REALLY good photography programme there. and i really wanna get into it because it's my dream school. well my second dream school...1st being Parsons in new york

Amateur Status
I just discovered how fun taking pics can be when I got my first camera a year ago. I didn't take any courses or anything, I just learned from making mistakes. And believe me I did. At Nasty I lost about 2 rolls because my shutter speed was too slow and I was shooting against the bright stage lighting.
I am pretty much all self taught.. I have talked to a few pros here and there and picked up some tips. I would be interested in hearing from other peeps who have some tricks to share. I just like to take pictures
but I don't take them alot now cause I don't have a camera well.. if I had one on me all the time.. I would go everywhere some interesting things that you don't normally see.. I wanna take a pic of hahah smiles :D:

whaooo... my career teacher talked about ryerson's today and told me it's my best bet in canada to go to for commercial/advertising arts... ah i wanna go there. hehehe time to talk to parents...

what kind of camera do you have robbo? you know what would be cool? is if, at a party, you use the b setting on your camera to quadruple expose a single frame of film and have someone dancing...so when you get the print back, you'll see 4 of the same person dancing in different poses.

that would be sweet
it would be better w/ a tripod and a totally black background. like if we actually set it up so that no one would walk behind it would look soooo much more proffessional. also @ plaza time lapse w/ the green lasers from 3rd floor or way back on the 1st floor. eeek so many ideas/

I like takin pictures... but nothing like you sammy, ur got insane talent!... mine are jus mostly of nature, boring stuff like that... I think it would be fun to get into photography tho, it's something I've always thought about but never pursued...
Good luck wif Ryerson!... I'm sure you will get in... I'm jealous! I wanna go to an art school so very badly.... do u know anything about their other visual art programs?... anyways... on my site, I have some photos.. nature photos mostly.... I know ryerson has a film programme...and they're also really good in fashion marketting and fashion design. i don't know too much about it though. ask aki, she'll know waaaaaaaay more about me in concern with the fashion thing. you should look at trying to get a scholarship to Parsons though

Parson's?.. isn't that in the states?
I doubt I have what it takes to get a scholarship! u'd have to be suuuper good at art, especially for a place in the states..... but I will be sure to look into it, I've never heard anything about Parsons before.... but it's nice and far from my parents, which is a bonus! :p ~breezy

you could get a scholarship...i think they're more fashion industry orientated though...i just thought you'd be interested in that because judging from your work, you like drawing people? i might be wrong.
