But I think the ends justify the means. As long as the money people pay ends up going towards the Lance Armstrong Foundation (even if some companies profit $3 from it) I think it's a good thing. I think most people know what they're supporting when they buy them. And I think it's more effective to actually wear the bracelet instead of just donating money. People have asked me questions about it, and they all wanted to get one to donate. If I just donated money, no one would know, and less people would be interested. I don't find any difference about this bracelet, than wearing the ribbon pin if you donate to breast cancer or aids. |

The money in cancer research is in the research, not the cure. Ever wonder why you've never heard of alternative cures (like the Hoxsey treatment, known to have a documented average 80% success rate, more info: http://www.healthy.net/scr/article.asp?ID=2010 )? Or do you actually believe that companies like Nike are doing good causes all while running a plethora of sweatshops? For all of you who say that this is for a good cause, it doesn't take a lot of reseach to realize you are being lied to. Don't believe me, look into what Micheal Dufresne of the university of Windsor/Cancer Care Ontario has to say about it. According to reports there are more than 100,000 synthetic cancer causing chemicals in use in Canada today. The Vancouver Sun even had a report from Veronique Mandal with the headline "Home is a haven for causes of cancer, reseacher says" with a sub title "Consumers 'blindly' use dangerous chemicals in everyday products, particularly cosmetics". Figure it out people, it's a fucking industry. |

You can't argue with scientific fact my dear :). Thing is, I am being positive because I am trying to rid this industry of it's lies. What's negative about letting people know you don't need radiation and kemo (which is very expensive/traumatic) to cure your cancer? YOU'RE the one who's being NEGATIVE. YOUR attitude and those that think like you are PERPETUATING this sort of behaviour by being an ignorant little sheep too concerned with fluffy duffy sugar coated feel goodness, rather than concentrating on the REAL issues. I'M QUOTING THE VANCOUVER SUN, HOW IS THIS A THEORY? Infact, you're the one who believes in conspiracy theories! I got the article right here in front of me, all you got is a shabby transparent ad hominem. I don't know if you are just in denial or just trolling me for a reaction, but in either case it doesn't matter, the truth speaks for itself. *** Maybe you are better off with this message: Buy more, don't ask questions, shut up, be happy, the comfort you demanded is now mandatory. You may now resume your obsession with image and consumption, repeat as necessary. |

Cancer researchers are trying to find a CURE, mark paul.
Most people who dedicate their lives to cancer research do so because the disease has affected them in some way. Most of us know someone who's either died of cancer, or survived it. It's because of decades of cancer research that more men, women and children are surviving deadly cancers that would have killed them if they'd had it 50 years ago. And for your information, there is a lot of research out there dedicated to the use of complimentary alternative medicine (CAM) in cancer. CAM models are taught in medical and nursing schools across the country. One of my professors has actually received multiple grants to conduct research on the use of alternative medicines and therapies in cancer. Wake the fuck up. |

I think if you simply compare the rates of cancer from current times, to say... 75 years ago, we're not exactly making progress. It's just the opposite. Not just that, but autism has increased 273% in the last decade in California, with clear links to flouride.
Our government is not beyond harming it's population for its own nefarious purposes. True story. |
