dude. what the FUCK do ANY of US have to do with this?
why is the ENTIRE planet reeling over this one braindead womans death? do you think she even knew she was starving? seriously. its none OF OUR FUCKING BUSINESS. she died. tragedy. death is always as such due to the ideas of it that have been formed by our modern societies. why dont we just show a little respect and not argue over something which has OBVIOUSLY been argued over ENOUGH? |

but that's just the thing, it became our business when they publicized it so heavily. I dont agree neccisarily with huge amounts of media attention that this all brought, to be honest I was really quite disgusted with it. I just wanted to pick people's brains a little on something other than "who's the hawtest fnker", "what type of drugs do you like to do at raves", and "does this make me look fat??" |

This is why I believe her husband was the right one on this...
when teri was alive she told both her husband and her brother in law that if she ever became a vegetable she wouldn't want to be kept alive...it was HER wishes...obviously her parents have some rights but the fact she said this makes me 100% sure what happened with the removal of the tube was the right thing to do. |

She told her husband that if she was to be in a vegetated state that she did not want to be kept alive. He's her husban, and he did what his wife had asked him to do befro she became ill. I think he did the right thing. I know if I was in her situation, I wouldn't want to be kept alive. I would rather have my family actually lose me then have me there but not there because, I couldn't think or do ANYTHING.

Just because her BODY felt pain doesn't mean that SHE did. But unfortunately, you're too far up your moral-superiority high horse to actually realize the distiction between the 2. PS -+> Pls don't try responding with something trite like "if a tree falls in the forest and there's no one there to hear it...". Thx. |

^ (edit for missbehavior) who said she couldn't feel pain? I've yet to hear an unambigious statement that actually said so. And even though you had doctors saying death by starvation and dehydration is 'peaceful', that's only the case in the last moments before she slips into a coma.

does anyone here think that this is what she had in mind when she said that? i highly doubt she thought she would be starved. i'm sure she thought, DNR. or pull the plug, BAM, almost instant death. not this media circus and starvation. |
