Looking the wrong way

if any u peeps travel to london.
a word of caution.
careful which way u look when crossing the street.
they drive on the opposite sides of the road.
i keep lookin left for traffic when i should be lookin right and vise versa.
nearly got hit a few time.
i suspect the signs painted on the ground are for idiots like me.

My favorite part of being in England was every time my Canadian driver would pull out into the wrong lane and I was pretty sure I was going to die. That and the gypsies.

I nearly got smoked by cars on Earl's Court Road SOOO many times.

Of course I got used to it, living there for a few months.

Naturally, when I got back to Canada, I nearly got smoked a few times for looking the wrong way, again!

The "boots" they put on car tires to prevent them from moving when they've been nicked for a parking infraction.
'Tis great fun to watch a bloke come out of the pub and just loooooosin' it when he sees his car clamped.

They put those signs on the road because it is human nature to look down at your feet when you stop before you cross something. So you look down and it tells you to look right.

i had that problem as well when i was there, but it wasnt as bad as when i was in hong kong.. they have those painted on most crosswalks there as well and boy did it help :P

my mom and 2 siblings lives here in westminster.
about 5 blocks from scotland yard on the other side of victoria street.
it's been almost 6 years since my last visit.

talk about peeps losing it here in london.
they do it alot.
just yesterday we saw some guy arguing w/ a parking ticket person.
(very very loudly)
"what the fuck are you talking about"?
"why don't you go fuck yourself"?
"you fucking wanker"!
"go fuck yourself"
"take that fucking sign and..."
and on and on and on.
