yeah one,and we like never see eachother because she works 7 days a week and lives in n.bby,and i work quite a bit as well so it sucks.
Its cool tho when we do see eachother,we`ve been good friends since like kindergarten&we`re so much alike its nutty. So its super cool&comfortable when we get together cuz theres like nothing either of us can do that will surprise or offend eachother. i miss her:(

there's only a couple of my high school friends that i still see on a regular basis. my best friend from grade 11 is still my best friend... but that's most likely because we followed the same sort of path, same university, same major (so we've shared a lot of classes), and same sorority (so same extended social group.) the other girl i've kept in touch with has lived a very different life for the past few years, but we've stayed close. the rest of my group from HS has moved away from van, two of them are currently in france, one is in montreal, and one is in the UK. there are infrequent emails, and i know that should our paths cross again our friendships will be just as they were.
99% of my friends are not on this site, nor that 'other' site. i've met a lot of people via the internet, and i'd consider quite a few of them friends/casual friends... but most fit into the party/club acquaintance context. my close friends have all been from school (hs or uni) and work.

none that i stay close with. i went to my school for sports...specificly sports. got into a clique of 7 gals and we played bball/vball and took over bc (we kicked ass).. but they weren't like GOOD friends material.. i duno. we did roadtrips a good 70% of the time..so living with the girls/being in cars with the girls for most of the time i remember in highschool was just enough for me. i saw the girls EVERYDAY for 5 years.. yes i got closer with some of them. but we all went our separate ways.. some to university to play ball, others are already strangely practically married. i think i changed a lot after highschool, so it makes sense that i dont keep in touch with them. i duno my highschool was tiny and i live in a town where ure garenteed to see someone u kow when u walk out ure door. .....enough of highschool.

I go to school with a handfull of high school friends. I work with a handfull of high school friends. I still talk and see a handfull of high school friends.
Three handfulls... quite a bit. Not complaining either. If I didn't like you in high school, I wouldn't be talking to you.

I went to a private/boarding school that had a 75%-to-college rate, so a lot of us just plain lost contact.
My closest friend from High School lives in downtown Duncan, I went with him to a rave just last year. We would get together and do mush/get baked/chill out at the park on a regular basis when I lived there. Nowadays I see him every once in a while whilst I'm visiting Duncan. Aside from that, I ran into one person I knew but didn't hang out with much at Shambhala, and then again at a club in Van a couple months ago... meant to get his e-mail address off him but he left before I could get it... My pre-high-school days are a bit more the people I see from time to time now. I used to live with someone I went to Mt. Prevost with and a lot of those people still kick around Coffee On The Moon in Duncan, so again, I see them whenever I'm back in town...

there are three that i talked to every couple of days or more, the rest have drifted. usually i run into kids from hs at local pubs and it depresses me because they've become towny's.
i went to five high schools so i tend to run into people every where.

YEah...most of my close friends are from highschool or from other schools in north van who I've been friends with for along time...The people i hang out with during the week most weekends are my highschool friends...I only really have a handful of fnk friends who I could call my "close" friends...I usually only see them on weekends....

me and the boys have all been good friends since grade 8 and in the case of a couple of those since grade 1. and to this day we are still tight. most people when they hear this are shocked for whatever reason. but other then these people the rest of the friends i had in hs i still know and bump into here and there but rarely talk

I had a lot of acquantiences in high school, I was kind of a social butterfly, and most of the people I was friendly with I rarely see, unless I'm back out in white rock for some kind of mandatory holiday (xmas, easter..) I don't think we have much in common at all now, I know a lot of people living off their parents still and not doing a whole lot other than drinking and blow. haha
My really close friends from highschool are still the same, I've even got a circle of friends from when I was a little kid that are like brothers and sisters to me and that will never change. I don't always get to see them as often as I'd like, but it's one of those things where when you hang out, even if it's been a long time, it's nothing, things are always comfortable and fun, and that's rad.

Man, I keep in touch with maybe four people from highschool - my ten-year reunion was last summer, and nobody even bothered to call me. :)
Interestingly enough, out of the four friends I keep in touch with, two of them went to college with me (and were my best friends there), and another one moved out west with me from the East Coast. I have absolutely nothing in common with pretty much everyone else I went to school with. Mostly, they're still back in the small town in New Brunswick, doing the same things every weekend as they were ten years ago, drinking, fighting and fucking... only difference is, now they have kids, mortgages and alimony payments. It's funny and sad - you can visit, but you can never go home again.

I still chill with a couple people from highschool. Although I didn't really hang out with many people from my own school even when I was attending. But I do try and keep in touch with some of my best friends from around that time from my school and the other ones they went to. I would say I still chat with maybe 3 on a regular basis and 6-7 from time to time.
