yeah, i have more friends from ubc that aren't on fnk.
i have kept in touch with very very few people from my high school. partly because they're in white rock (which i despise), partly because i despise many of them anyway. however, i still speak to two of them on a regular basis (they go to ubc with me) and 2 i speak to infrequently and they live in white rock.

Without a doubt. Though one of them does surf here occasionally, those highschool friends who I've still kept in contact with to this day, are all off of this board. I see them about a couple times a month, maybe more or less depending on how many birthdays there are in that month or how available we are.. etc..
It's nice to have a constant in your life, and i appreciate every opportunity we get to spend time with each other. Come to think of it, we've known each other for 8 years now, and it's been interesting growing older with them and seeing each other evolve throughout the years.

hehe pretty much all the people i always hang out with are from high school.... we just have that bond and understanding. i've got alot of friends i've met along the way till now but i can't say the bonds are as tite as my boys from back in teh day

I'm not tight with many ppl from hs, but alot of my friends from that time period went to a different hs than me. .. Even so, I'm not really tight with those ppl from hs times. We grew up and grew apart. Now I have friends that I met in college or my jobs, and they are not on fnk.

I live with a highschool friend.
Two of my best friends are from highschool and quite a few of my friends from HS are over here for University also... When I'm tight with a person, it usually turns out to be for a long time, even if we dont' talk all the time and our lives flux. There's some bonds that just keep.

Afterwhich, those people probably hang out with their friends, go drinking and dancing, which would constitude living and enjoying life. Hiding behind a computer to chat with people is not the same thing as going out with a friends and laughing, or show emotion. There is more i could say but i hope you get my point already, and as for asking me if i have any friends at all? YES, and no they don't steam just from one place, i wouldn't be unhappy if they did, friends are friends, but for myself, and speaking for me alone, i am happy to have friends that come from a vareity of different places and wondering what the situation of others was like. In the end it doesn't matter....people need people and if you have people that's great. It was just a question. something i wondered. peace.

I have one reaslly close friend who I graduated with that I sort of lost touch with, but we are trying to work on hanging out alot. It's like nothing has changed when we hang out. I love her to death. As for the other girls, I knew they were flakes going into gr.11 so it's not a surprise that we don't see eye to eye. As for guys, I still hang out with alot of them because they are all regulars at the pub I work at. I've always just had more guy friends. Like any girl in highscool, you hang out with the guys the next few years ahead of you as well. Still do. Alot of them are my brothers friends.

My two best friends are both from highschool. And I have 4 'close' friends that I also went to highschool with or new while in highschool. Those type of friendships mean the most to me. They know ALL of me. ;D

I have a few friends from high school (and even 1 from elementary school!) that I still talk to, I don't hang out with them all that much but we do talk several times a week on msn- and none of them are on fnk.
But the majority of people I used to hang out with in high school are still sportin what I call 'the high school mentality' so we don't see eye-to-eye anymore.
