Balcony was cool. That's where we started the whole Fishing For Ravers thing, when I accidentally smacked a security guard halfway across the party with a glowstick.

Good times, good times.

Shouldn't hate on Ravercide too much... but honestly, I'm happy it's not used that much anymore.

^^ hehe. We used to play "shoot the ravers with water guns" up there.. Also did that at the Palace at Riverside (think that's the name of the venue)- that place was pretty cool. I liked it better than Raverside.

Oh, fuck. How could I forget: Forestry Pools on the Island. Trees, river, camping.... awesome spot.

Plaza was by far my favorite for many reasons. It also had the most memories. Theatre room was alwasy great, gives u an option of being able to sit in decent seats rather then the floor and in the case of some other venues nasty floors where u have to gather up flyers to sit on. Multiple floors giving u an overhead view of the main room was always neic to see. Escalators was nice as well. Perhaps the real downfall of plaza was that the building was glass so when it started to get bright the main room would be bright. Something other venues dont have troubles with other then an outdoor party.

No one said they had to be mainland venues, so I would have to say on the Island, on the Mill Bay reserve.

So many huge Island parties were throw there a couple summers back... Most of them were 3-5 stages, and every party there was nutty! Swordfighting with glowstick wrapped shinai (sp? - the bamboo swords used in martial arts) had to have been on of my favorite things I did there...
