my mom's rice pudding

so i get home all grumpy and tired from having to leave boyfriends house when i really didnt want to, and i look at all the work i have to do in the morning involving the renovations, then i go into the kitchen to drop off the car keys and BAM! my mom made a huge thing of rice pudding. i fucking love this stuff. its so good. its one of the things she used to make me when i had a cold or was feeling better after having the flu for awhile. its like my trained comfort food.
just finished my bowl, and damn was it ever good.

i used to eat that stuff all the time, i think that i would spice it up by putting a little bit of jam on top while pudding was still hot
