The only down fall - the dirt floors, one would be hard packed, and one covered.

It is an amazing venue. Not to mention, the management was fabulous to deal with. And reasonable rent. In fact, amazing rent. And the stuff we got to use out there. Remember the trailer stage? Like for country shows?
Yep...

Even stages back to back will still require expensive sound curtaining... Keep in mind with the cement floors (where they are) and walls that it reflects sound. But yeah, lots of possibilities.

No no, I agree, the sound curtain would be expensive. But it is Chilliwack, we could just pile the bales of hay really high, it is dense, that shit would work like a hot damn!

Neoh - that was one of my favorite Spooky's too. Besides the very first one. It was just such a neat venue.

And like Plaza, they had people cleaning the venue all night. There weren't gross washrooms, and you weren't tripping over water bottles.

Small shows at Plush or anything like that are way better than massives. Filter out the young ones, throw a little bit more money on light show and presto.
Not to mention that you can buy alcohol...

I got my lottery ticket, and im going to win the lottery and buy the plaza, then all problems will be settled.

To answer your question, I like the Maritime better ONLY because its 20 mins from my house, but I agree, its a shitty venue to bring big headliners too.

Riveside was awesome, longer drive to the venue, but bigger and yes it does feel like more of a rave not a high school dance or a MASSIVE.

Chilliwack heritage was definitely cool. It was quite cold though, that was the only real down point. It had so much room, though!!! Lets face it, with a free shuttle, the distance becomes a non issue for a lot of people. I'd go to another party there, because a massive needs space. Raverside is cool but it is too small for a true massive like spooky.

I'd really like to see a decent alternative to solid for halloween this year... jungle in the Amsterdam cafe basement was cool last year, but I feel the need for a big party on halloween...

riverside:
nice view from the balcony, the dance floor is kind of small, NICE BIG smoke pit, oh ya and nasty small washroom... but what washroom isn't dirty after rave? the top room is pretty nice, especially with that trippy hallway... and a place to chill on the side

maritime:
big dance floor, when i lean against the wall of the small room, it was like falling apart LOL... i can hear the small room's music in the main room, small washroom... the smoke pit... WTF so small

riverside is my vote
