first off Everyone is littering this thread with garbage, They want tips on glowsticking. try doing the wave with your finger tips together and the glowsticks in your hands, Then make sure what ever you do you follow one hand with the other and make it flow, Do figure eights and whatever YOU think looks good.Try to feel the music as much as you can and when you are at a rave, just watch someone and you will get it in no time, When you do its so easy.
I'm not one to play with the glowsticks to much, But one of my best friends is a seriously good dancer with them, And to me it looks so good. So Dont trash the glowsticks people, We all have different types of dancing, Every kind should be respected.

There are a few things you can do with em. Conjuring is my favourite. It is supposed to look like you are juggling one light basically. You do this by turning one off and the other on in perfect timing.. looks pretty cool when done right, and ive seen some people come up with some pretty cool tricks.

flailing aboot looks cool with them too becasue of the type of light emitted by the LED's, just looks cool.

anyways, what most poeple said, ask people at raves to teach you; thats how i learned and most poeple that are waving glowsticks around are on e and will be nice enough to show you :p

Nothing to do with the fifty thousandth raver trying to "trip me out" with their "really cool light show" where they just wave around a couple of glowsticks in front of my face like I'm supposed to be impressed or something.

Here is something that is key, if someone is already watchin my sticks quite abit while i'm just moving around, i go over and ask them or wait for them to ask me for a show. I had it acouple of times when little teeny boppers started by shoving the damn thing into my face (one girl actualy smashed me in the eye). Long as someone says yes go for it. Don't be a dick and suddenly start shoving your sticks into someones eye.

its sad cuz i bet by default u also equally hate on those who keep their lights/glowsticks in their pockets other than to give people lightshows whom ask for them... sounds to me like ur complaining about individuals that are too high to keep out of other people's personal space... ur hate is far too general..

Here's a shocker: I still use glowsticks. They're great for flagging your bag, lighting your path and rifling through your bag at outdoor parties.

It's turns into bullying when ppl have to make fun, steel and destroy another person's glow stick(anything for that matter). Someone please tell me why its so nessesary to make such a big deal about glow sticks?


gnosis: have a bad dream about the glow stick monster? I think ive attacked more ppl with flyers than anyones been threatend with a glow stick... however ppl still take my flyers when I hand them out? Its called saying, "no thank you." So far its worked on every glow stick show attempt Ive had.
