snowboard jackets aren't versatile enough

the great thing about a black puffy jacket w/removable fur is that you can dress it up by removing the fur or dress it down by leaving the fur on and dressing casual

IMO every guy and every girl needs AT LEAST one casual coat and one dressy coat.

regardless, spiewak makes great jackets and you cant really go wrong with them. i remember seeing the reversible one that you want at brooklyn clothing last winter. you should check there otherwise check boysco

Actually, what he said is "fashion conscious people." And although these jackets may be in style and "fashionable" it does not mean that they are for fashion conscious people. I think he's looking for a jacket that shows he has an ounce of good taste.
