Yea cant wait. Been wanting to go to WMC for a pretty long time.
We found some great deals especially if your sharing a room with someone. Check out www.expedia.ca. Play around with dates and departure points i think Sean saves us like $400 or somthing by leaving from seattle and staying an extra night in our hotel! Going to be a crazy time for sure. if your goin to splurge on the conferences, you might as well take alook at the M3 Summit as well

It would be my last week of classes... so I'm not so sure it would work? If I can get cheap flights I guess I can swing it.
As long as people are willing to allow me to bathtub surf I'm down. If I sleep :P I can sleep anywhere... Plus I'm a girl, how hard can finding somewhere to sleep be. Consider bluff called :)

I might be going.. supposed to play at 2 female-dj showcases.. but I think it depends how much of a shopping spree I go on while I'm in New York.
The actual conference is pandering bullshit. Why buy a ticket to that? The parties are pretty good, if that's what you want, but I wouldn't go there to hand out DJ demos.. unless you're a producer playing your own tracks. meh, I'd rather go to Europe. But then, I've been to WMC twice.

no shit eh... you see 100's of kids running around the conferences looking for someone to hand a cd/promo too...
in reality, most of the big guys take them to be nice, then throw them behind bushes, or stack them up on the beach... in the case of the crews I've been with, they had a little bon fire. =) It's not to be rude, it's just no one wants to carry that stuff around, and are rarely at the hotel room to "drop" it off. parties a++++++... funny thing is, if you get there on the day before the conference, hit up a watering hole, drinks are decent price. as soon as the conference starts, hit the same watering hole up, drinks have doubled in price.
