Wmc 2006
Ive got less than 2 days to decide... this may mean a huge cut on a trip to Europe in the summer, but I already know a few others going and ive got a gut feeling this might be the better choice!?!
Anyone else going this year? Any experinced WMC'ers wanna convince or unconvince me in the next 24 hours?

-apparently spring break will be happening as well during this year's WMC schedule which kinda puts a damper on the lineup deals and door prices goin through the roof. I know couple years ago that SPACE used 5-day passports which GUARENTEED you admission, they worked. STAY AWAY FROM ULTRA unless handcuff yourself to your friends, likely hood of finding them again if you get seperated is null. Flights to Miami usually range from $400-$800 or $1,200 week of(heh)

99% going... Any advice/sugestions on Hotels? Workshops? transport? Or any other tips to keep the cost low but fullfilling as possible?

"Last year, Sasha, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Oscar G, Danny Tenaglia, & a host of other DJs showed up to dance, have fun, and perform for the love of house music." So it's open decks, and the crowd consists of superstar DJs... for some reason the image of Sasha, Deep Dish, and Danny Tenaglia getting down and going off to some noob DJ is hilarious. Hell, even the image of those guys going off like clubbers in general is damn funny.

no one goes to the workshops, just so you know =). You'll get people from billboard, or cheesy reps from pop radio stations at those places.. think about it, your going to be sleeping in the day, partying afternoon till early morning hah.. just save all your cash for the parties and rediculously overpriced drinks.. not to mention the mandatory 17% gratuity included in every meal you eat out on south beach.
stay near the strip (washington street, near 6th), or else your taxi bills from the city are gonna be alot... you can walk to most of the clubs there, and take a cab to like the maze or space if you need to... go to the free pool parties and eat free food ;) save some money there eh.. goto the yearly astralwerks party, not sure if it's going to be on the beach again.. but they're free, and its pimp.. daft punk and the crew. have fun!

Personaly id relaly like to get involed and make it an educational experince as well. Or are they super lame and not worth a penny at all? I was thinking of booking a hotel in South Beach. Someone made a good point that if you do that then you can walk to and from the parties and druing the day it's easyer to cab or take transit to the actual confrence.
