I had such a brilliant Saturday night of great music!!!

I've got a season's pass for the Vancouver Symphony, and last night was one of the shows I've got tix for.

Whoa!

Besides the orchestra, they had a hundred-person choir, on stage! (20/80 male/female)
That was fronted by 4 vocalists, 2/2 (male: tenor/barritone).

They performed Mendelssohn's "Elijah".

Wow!

What beautiful sounds!!!

I've got the perfect acoustic seats, too, centre balcony.

As soon as that ended, I popped 'round the corner to my place, built up a few souljah's and headed back 'round the corner to the Commodore for the BEST dancehall event of the year: Damien Marley!

Ya know....?...

That room and soundsystem is just so _tuned_ for reggae basslines!!!!

Awesome music, all night!

I can only whish everyone out there has at least _one_ night-a-year like that!
