Well yeah I think it could be put forth as popular opinion...atleast for the demography of western canada...and apparently we're supposed to be open minded here. To quote the late Thomas Jefferson, "...I fear For my country, knowing that God is just".

I think the best shot we've got is for a generation of home schooled youth in which the female denomination is shown her true world influence rather than this recent, no right to vote struggle, sit in the back of the bus this is a man's world bullshit.

At some point there was a shift in the perception of what womens rights were intstrinsically. Flashing your boobs, wearing a short skirt, getting drunk, and fucking around are all rights that should be enjoyed by any women, but there seems to be a population that somehow beleives that these rights were the EXTENT of the fucking battle. Its sad. Being a bitch isnt tough, being a bitch who has the intellect, drive and presence to inspire other women to take on more leadership roles despite the glorious illusions cast by capitalist imagery is! The similair sentiment is true of men, and human beings of any colour, or creed. Corporate and mass media imagery and sentiment isnt a representation of the real fucking world and the struggles in it, so it shouldnt be a reflection of how we should operate or compare our own lives either.
