He coughs up the puck around 3 times a game.
ALMOST as bad as Igor Ulanov in Edmonton. remember the edmonton game. - first goal was because of jovo's giveaway. When I see an opposing team get an unasisted goal on the sheets - i presume jovo gave th epuck away. and you think it's just between a couple people that thinks this? listen to 730 or 1040 some time... |

Hahhaha yeah, thanks for the bad karma McNasty "Why isn't Nolan Baumgartner on Team Canada?" Man, you totally did not get the point of my second to last post in this thread, and so you should go ask Wayne Gretzky and company why Nolan is not on the Team. Maybe it's because Jovo, and other defensemen in the NHL have more points than B.Gartner? Could it be Jovo is a faster skater? Could it be that Jovo has more experience in the NHL than B.Gartner? I am speaking in a neutral emotion by saying mostly the strong points of each player. So take a chill pill and relax. :mexitoke:

Jovo is just a flashy player who scores lots of points for a defencmen and he can skate well to get back in the play.
especially when he is getting picked for the NHL all star game its solely based on his points. Ohlund is the better player defensively anyways, and thats what should be the most important, points for a defencemen should be secondary. |

Here's a better question why wasn't Paul Kariya on team Canada. Considering he is playing pretty decent hockey, not to mention it never hurts to have a really fast skater who can score.
Or whatever happened to Eric Stall. I think Stall deserves a spot on team canada more than Doan, Kris Draper and yes even Jovo. |

How many players can take the punishment in front of the crease and basically not budge? Bertuzzi. I think Bertuzzi is a skillful players, but he also has his weaknesses (like skating around like a ballerina too much sometimes <---this is called an opportunist on the ice). Besides his 34 points, and second to behind Naslund (40 points) ranked 18th spot in NHL forwards for points, I think Bertuzzi is still one of canucks top players no matter how you look at it. Do I think he is payed the money he deserves? No. I think he should be producing more...expecially with his contract. So Paul Kariya...why is he not on "the List" is because he is too small, and does not have the size that Canada needs to tower over the americans and europeans. Just remember Wayne Gretzky in his Ford commercials...they promote their big trucks...so, with that in mind, Wayne wants a "BIG" Team...and Kariya is a tiny mouse (with speed). And Bert, when he skates, he can skate pretty fast too (especially with his 240 lb plus weight). Last edited by Antenna_Boy; Dec 28, 05 at 03:18 PM. |

but i think at least Eric Stall should have been on team Canada common man, Kris Draper, Shane Doan?> No Eric Stall with 51 points and 26 goals? and yet Shane Doan with his 27 points and -9 rating deserves to be on team Canada? |
