Guy's a bum. Never seen a defenceman cough up the puck as much as this guy, and he's our #1? Like, i'm talking brutal give-aways, on a pretty regular basis. He should re-think his 'rushing up in the play' thing, because he get's screwed lots.


The best part? So many teams want this guy! So trade him and throw in unreliable Clouts into the deal.

Are you fer rel buddy? 5 goals yesterday (not including the shootout goals), 7 goals the game before, and you say he's going great? Auld is doing mediocre, and that won't get us the cup.

Morrison is looking sucky too, that's true, but I can see crow knows that as he was putting Ruutu on the 1st line for a few shifts yesterday. But bloody pull Auld after the 5th goal already..

I would say the best player on the team right now is Cooke or Daniel Sedin, what a big 1st line eh?

Jovo and Morrison at this point SHOULD be on the bubble. Either produce more or get traded.

I was actually going to comment on Allen, as he gives up the puck all the time, which leads to them getting scored on quite often. :(

Everyone has their opinions on players and for me ive been saying trade Jovo for some years now. He does bring some good things to our team which i wont deny. But he is the TO (turnover) King for sure. Just about every single game i see him cough the puck up with a stupid pass which leads to a scoring chance for the other team. With all these costly give aways and constant screw ups plus his exspensive contract and also throw in the fact that teams will want him i think tis best to ditch him. I find more negatives then positives from thsi guy. But this is just my opinion.

I'd keep him....tru he coughed up da puck a couple times but we need him. He's really good offensively also. The guy also plays with heart, jus look how he scraps lol all or nothin kinda guy. (those haymakers were pretty weak) lol Our defense is already lacking due to Malik and Sopel gone we definitely cant afford to lose another.

Jovo isn't doing that great offensively now if u haven't noticed the whole defense is kinda stopped producing. Salo and Jovo are included.

I dunno I just think IF we can get a luongo or biron or kolzig and a defensmen thats solid for Jovo and maybe cloutier or something i don't see a problem.

I don't think it would be as huge as u think it would be. I would prefer to have malik back actually. He was a solid defencemen. Not flashy but solid.

P.S: Its not how many times he coughs it up , its HOW he coughs it up leading to 2 on 0 breakaways or a free shot right from the slot

trade jovo's ass, we need a real defencement, our defence sucks so hard, lets be realistic, without an improvement to our defence and goaltending, there is no way we'll make it past second round ( that's if we make it past first round ). sure jovo puts points on the board, but that's not his job, his job is to help the goalie keep the puck out of the net, which he is horrible at doing, he literally is giving away freebies to the opposing team. it's time for nonis to wake the fuck up and make a move, because we should have been winning the last few games, we have a 6 game home stand and we've lost every game so far, its' time to wake up!@$!$!

So is Jovo considering he logs over 20 minutes a game. Face it plus/minus stat is a big thing, though people shrug it off. Jovo has only been in the plus twice in his career. Given like 4 of those were with Florida...

but unless he brings his game up and stops giving the puck up and starts producing again.

^ totally. Cloutier's worth is gone now, we may have been able to have gotten a good deal for him and jovo back in maybe 2002 or even 2003 but now his worth is gone.

Not to mention everyone knows his struggles in the playoff's

Jovo is nowhere near bad enough to deserve a thread like this .....Cloutier definately should be traded but Jovo is one of the best defenceman in the league....fuck these give-aways ur talkin about....i havent seen many......i'd say Allen or Baumgartner do way more stupid shit.....Jovo is good at rushing, shooting, and he is a tough defender

I think he may be one of the better rushing defensemen, but he has defensive responsibilities too.

Don't tell me you havn't seen him cough up the puck at blueline and have to chase the forward from behind.

He's good I just don't think he is that good, especially as of late.
