Best Place to Get a Custom Tattoo?
Any Recommendations, experiences with specific tattoo parlors? Places I totally should avoid...

Depends what you want to get. Some places are better for certain things vs other places. Ive tried 3 different places personally and i have found the place that im sticking to which is Funhouse in vancouver. 5 artists i believe and 3 of them are pretty damn good. other 2 are not as experianced but they arnt exactly shit by any means. Sacred heart, dutchman are also some places that are always near the top of the list. Also as of late ive heard many good things about this place in richmond. Theres this one japanese guy there thats pretty damn good.

dennis off 11th + commercial(i keep forgetting the shop name) - he comes off like a big time "asshole" but i think its just a front, asides from the fact that hes fucking amazingly talented
justina at Liquid Amber - shes a tad slow for me, and honestly i was kinda of annoyed by that fact initially because the piece she did for me ran around 350 AFTER giving me 20% off, but then i realized, the experience was amazing, shes fucking rad and talented, and the tatty looks amazing. So i would still highly reccomend her. Her partner in crime is this homie from peru, and he is seriously fucking top notch. I forget his name, but im sure his work will grow to preceed him,. Finally justinas apprentice maddox, is so amazingly cute/hot, itll make you stutter :)

some lady posted that she was getting hooked up w/ a tattoo gun and was offering her services here awhile ago....i'd most def avoid that
what kind of tattoo are you looking to get, one with a lot of detail, a simple tribal band, ect?? different artists have different skillz... check out some of these tattoo pics by donovan @ lady luck (l)

Dermagraphic osmosis in richmond. ive gotten all my work done there by both tattoo artists. terry is awsome, but charges $130 an hour, in the end its worth it.. for a good tattoo. and trevor is equally as good, im not sure if its depending on tattoo size or what, but everyone i know thats gotten a tattoo by him (including myself) has had it done at a set price.

The dutchman is always a good choice if you can get an appointement......but Jesse at Renaisance(sp?) in abby is awsome.....he's done 3 out of my 4 and the majority of my brothers.......he'd probably be willing to draw you up a custom design as well.....you'd just have to go talk to him about it......though I'm not really sure what he's charging right now cause I haven't gone to him in about 2 months because I moved to alberta and he just got the job at renaisance after being at gangsters inc in Chiliiwack

im getting more work done to my arm today at 2.
i think i might rip up a tatt next time in van which is probly gona be in a week or two :) are any of these places downtown?
