so im finally doing what i should have done three years ago and throwing out alot of the stuff i have accumulated and giving away half of my wardrobe.
detatchment is hard but it feels better with each day as i see more and more space and i have a place to paint.
I HAVE A PLACE TO PAINT!
i almost stopped and started painting right as soon as i set it up, but alas i still have more purging to do.

Nice one. It's always nice to see the aftermath of all the sorting and purging. :) The process of doing so is always messy though.
I tend to do that every time I move. But I still have random pointless yet sentimental things that I keep holding onto. Hmm.. spring cleaning maybe.

Over the winter break I got rid of 3+ laundry baskets of clothes that I wasn't wearing. My sister and mum love them, and anything they didn't want is going to good will or a shelter. I have some knick knacks to go thru yet, but atleast those are in a tub under my bed and not eating up precious space. Ask Ashlee, my room is night and day different!

When I purged right before leaving the country, it felt oh so good. Not just clothes, but all sorts of stuff. Talk about starting over... I hope someone needy was happy to get my shwag, most of it went to salvation army.
