My contract just ended with Rogers last month... its not a bad plan, but a cheeper one and a new phone would be cool.
Seems a little too good to be true though... could you enlighten us with some more details and the rest of the contract?

im in a 4 year w/ fido from way back and my monthly is $45 + extras = $80+
they get you on the unlimited plan NOW ur gunna be paying $60+ after 6/mo http://www.fido.ca/portal/en/packages/monthly.shtml http://www.fido.ca/portal/en/package...shtml#65_month its a get you in for 2/y plan.. think about it before you jump. not to say its a bad deal.. but I wish I knew I would be paying near $100/m when I joined

i've never had a single problem with fido in the past 2 years i've been with them until they double billed me 3 months in a row, then when i called to complain they told me they wouldn't be refunding my money because you only have 30 days to dispute your bill.
NOT MY PROBLEM THEY DIDNT CHARGE MY VISA ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS, AND INSTEAD GROUPED SEPT. OCT. AND NOV's BILLS TOGETHER. Im not waiting for this month to end then I will be switching to Rogers. A lot more expensive, but my family hasn't had a SINGLE problem with them in years, so I feel its safe.

haha no cellphone would ever cost $10 a month on its own, a cellular company wouldn't make ANY money that way
prepaid is okay service if you don't really use your phone a lot, if not it's pretty expensive because every call is billed. the only way to go is monthly, who wants their phone to stop working when they go over their minutes?

Not that special of a deal. Rogers has a similiar promotion to this all the time. The deal usually is first 6 months unlimited talk time etc... at that point you pay full price on your monthl. Obviously you choose the cheap plan of $20. So you pay $20 a month for the first 6 then you change to whatever plan you watn after that for the rest of your contract. Now with this deal somehow he got the first 6 months from $20 to $10. wow i save $60. i dont care. free crap mp3 player or bluetooth? meh all companies are doing that now too.

I'm on the Talk More plan through Bell.
$35 gets you 100 anytime minutes (I work during the week anyways), free evenings/weekends, and that includes the system access fee and 911 fee. With voicemail, other extras and taxes, I pay $50/month. Beats Telus, I was paying like 80-90/month with them for practically the same plan. The voicemail is so much better. 5 minute long messages, up to 25 messages.

You also get a free camera phone, no activation fees and a free mp3 player for sigingin with me Also, Fido will take $20 of your bill everytime you get a friend to sign up You also can go on mutli line deals with a friend, couple or family. Its hella cheap. You can get almost unlimited for $60 between 2 people! That is $30 a month, and you still get the first 6 months really cheap (stated above). I switched over, I put my boyfriend and my family on these deals. Now, trust me, Ill help ya, I need your guys faith right I mean Im just sharing the wealth. Ill help you pick the best phone network, handset and plan. I want to be on the best of terms with all ya!
