What The Heck??

What does this mean? Last night my computer worked fine, no problems at all, then I turn it on today and I can't get onto MSN. I also try to right click on my mouse and no window pops up, just a few black lines? Is this some sort of virus? I have no idea how I got this.

I'm just happy internet explorer still works fine and that I can access all my multimedia files. This sucks I can't go on msn. Is it necessary for me to re-install windows and if I do so will I lose files in drive (D) or only in drive (C)?

Okay I fixed it, stupid registry error. I thought it was something to do with MSN Messanger so I deleted it, so does anyone know the website where I can download MSN Messanger 7.5 again?
