Wi-Fi access to USA along border?

Does anyone know of a place along the border in Canada where there is wi-fi access from in the USA, like somewhere on o (Zero) Avenue? Or an area along the border where there are lots of houses on the USA side. I need to buy some Beatport MP3 tracks using a USA IP address since some tracks cannot be bought from Canada.

border zones in the lower mainland are typically anywhere towards the bottom of the hill in white rock so you don't even have to go towards zero ave. to get to it, or there's some areas out in Langley and Abbotsford as well..

Are you using a laptop with an aircard?

Yes - laptop with wi-fi (internal) wireless net card.................. There is a way to get an IP address in other countries using proxy servers so you don't need to travel anywhere, but I haven't been able to get that to work yet.

I tried about 30 proxy servers now and only got one to work and it was unreliable, didn't work long. There is a proxy server tester page at that site above and it confirms that the vast majority of free proxy servers don't work at all, gotta wonder why that is.

Anyone know of a good working proxy server in USA? I know there are "pay" servers but don't want those.

Prefer not to go across the border for this project. But Starbucks Bellingham may be required, I think they have wi-fi, or some other place where they have online computers like Best Buy.
