I've tryed Bikram a few times and love it.

I never thought it would be as hard as it was. Hurts the wallet big time though.

I know...it was $15 for a drop in, and the "passes" are not very cheap either, but I guess you have to think of the heating bill!!

hha.. totally..
i tried to mimik the atmosphere in my house once while trying to achieve bikrams yoga enviroment.. so i did yoga with the heat on full blast and posing right infront of the fire. I guess it kinda worked. but i was sick at the time so a fever was already there.

My personal taste in yoga is the ashtanga style (power, flow, vinyasa) or pilates. I find that you move more, and really work up a sweat. I mean meditation is wicked, but if you truly want to get physical AS WELL as mental results, do something that will challenge your cardio.

The first time I tried Bikrams, I started to hallucinate, but MAN I felt SOoo good after, mentally and physically! The instructor though was like a drill sergeant.. she didn't stop talking the whole time!! The second time I went the instructor was a lot better and she was more relaxing to listen to. But yes it is pretty expensive, when I'm broke I just stick to good old pilates!!

Hmmm, Seems Like A great Idea....But it wouldnt be quite Hot enough, they have it at like 80 degrees in there....Certianly not for the faint of heart, Went again last night, and I do beleive I have found my new addicition...I brought my Boyfriend, who is a gymnast, and was totally skeptical of the accual "workout" part of it... we will just say, his mind is now changed!!
