jovo is a free agent. he's not going to be traded, and quite frankly he was the only reason this team even had a glimmer of hope these last few games. d-men like jovo are not easy to replace. jovo is in the tier A d-men category. morrison, bertuzzi are certainly up for trades, but if there's no takers then we're fucked. we've got the 3 goalie problem now too, so someone's gotta move there too. trading naslund? are you fucking retarded you stupid bandwagon jumping motherfucker? what next? maybe we go punch trevor linden's mom in the ovaries? it's called showing some respect to someone who's not only our captain but a dude who's put in his best years here and has always worked his ass off. besides a new linemate or two would get him back to 40+ goals a year no problemo. weinrich was a real disappointment i must say. wtf happened to the guy that actually had a good +/- in st.louis? carney is a decent fit for this team, he'll be around next year.

They should of traded Jovo when they had the chance, now that he is a free agent he can leave and they won't get anyone for him. The respect Naslund gets is with his pay cheque. Not only did he suck it up this year, he obviously couldn't get the team on track as a leader either.
I don't even know why I bother talking about the Canucks since I've never been a fan :)

Wouldn't it be interesting to see Mats Sundin come down to Vancouver? Afterall...rumours are he wants out of Toronto these days :D . Anywho...I think Marc Crawford is doing a decent job, how else would have the sedins been able to improve in their game if it weren't for the Crow? I think the that that Canucks players have been around each other too long, and there should be a player shuffle, but keep the coach and training staff. Anson Carter and both Sedins are definite keepers at "any" cost. Morrison should get traded as he has slumped considerably. But he has grit...who knows?.
 Bertuzzi is not producing as much or contributing as much to the vancouver club organization or to the vancouver community for what he gets paid to do, plus the fact the Moore is still on his ass for the hit and the media grill him here...he has no focus on the game, and he is much slower than how he used to skate( could it be the steroid crackdown on the NHL players got to him??? :070:) ...so get rid of him!!!! Naslund should be a keeper as I am sure we will see Linden retire soon and Naslund should hold up the "C" for another year. Jarko Ruutu, as much as I like his fiestiness, he is causing the canucks to be more on the penalty kill rather than on the powerplay. At least Cooke is more smarter than Ruutu about getting under the feathers of the opponents without getting a penalty.  Richard Park, we all had high expectations for his production in goal scoring due to his speed when acquired from the Wild. Sorry guys, but he is not producing as much..he has to go. Burrows...yeah, nuf said, this guy earned his spot on the roster...and the same with Kesler..they are both in. Tyler Bouck and Bieksa...two tough guys I think we should keep...and get rid of Bryan Allen...too many cough ups on the penalty kill, and too many penalties on his part. Ohlund, Salo, Jovo and Baumgartner ARE THE TOP D-MEN FOR THE CANUCKS. Keith carney earned his spot, he should be around for another year. Weinrich? I think his season is done as part of his "filling-in" role for the canucks' injured roster. And the goalie issue...right, 3 goalies? Hmmmm, unlike Buffalo who had 3 good goalies..we only have one "decent" goalie being Auld. Clouts and Noronen should go...and bring in Curtis Joseph (recall Mats Sundin? both play/played for Toronto). Make Auld the backup. Oh, and Nonis...yeah, get rid of him and bring back Brian Burke. :mexitoke:

I agree with park, weinrich, morisson and ruutu going. We need cooke. He inspires the team, and checks hard but unlike ruutu keeps most of his penalties resonable. Example: He won't go and run someone down when were on the penalty kill, like in the anaheim game. and yes this is Naslund's team. Give him the rite linemates and he'll get going again. The thing is who knows if he will even want to play next season. Alot of thinking in the off season but our biggest most devasting move was firing brian burke. What the hell was ORCA BAY thinking. Oh ya the millionaire owner had beef haha

This years nhl was a fuckin big joke.
Saving money on airfare ? Play the same teams 50 times ina row ? Refs call a penalty for tripping AND diving in one call !? Seriously the nhl this year was a fuckin joke. The one time I see the scored in the crease rule used was on Bertuzzi. Shit reffing, shit organization, shit new rules....just shit. Next year will be a real fuckin year where we play everyone. Not just the 3 teams we fucking hate and have trouble with. Trade whoever the fuck you want canucks are so disorganized its pathetic. All I want next year is a fucking Goalie ! Not some rusty hinge knee loser on enough dope to choke a mule, or some backup thats hot n cold every game. Either we get a new McLean or we're never going anywhere. Fuckin Bettman you cocksuckin weasle, save a buck and destroy the nhl. next year better be the real NHL and not this save a fuckin penny bullshit !

Even with a good goalie when your allowed +20 shots against per game on average your gonna lose the game.
You even wonder why Auld went cold n hot maybe a little bit had to do with the 40+ shots per game. Game in game out. We were playing horrible defense in front on him all year, but I wouldn't mind seeing Joseph in net. We had a chance for him at the deadline but the coyotes were still in contention back than

i love it how people that have never even played a game of hockey in their life know exactly what the canucks need to do to win. yeah lets trade our whole team away. they shouldnt rush anything. losing ruuto, cooke, carney, weinrich and few players like that will go probably go down and i doubt we can sign both jovo and carter. it was the first year back from the lockout. people seem to forget about that. this year was anybodys game. vancouver fans are retarded. obviously we are all pissed off but its one year. if the canucks are smart they will make some salary cap room for a few years down the road when there is actually some talent out there.
