then make a trade to get a goalie. trade jovo/bert/nassy/morrison/auld/clout .. any combo out of that to get a goalie would be worth it. all we need on defense core is Salo/Ohlund/baum/Allen and we're good to go.

then get rid of Carney. Personally didn't really like him. Seemed solid enough, but he made some crucial errors that led to goals down the stretch and gave up some dumb penalties. he has potential but i dno?

we all wanna get a goalie? apparently a few of you guys want curtis joseph. why? because of all that experience he has losing in the playoffs? or maybe his old age. because it'd be awesome if he broke down like hasek or belfour did this year. yes. let's hinge the franchise on an old man.

there is NO goalie out there worth getting. what good is overpaying for a washed up old man who's only gonna mess up and require us to replace him within a season. totally thinking like the maple leafs.

anyone we do trade isn't viewed as a top notch anything. clouts/bert/morrison. so whoever we get will be damaged goods with no guarantee of actually improving our team.

while I don't doubt he's arguably the most talented on the team , the fact remains he has checked out of Van. when he loses the puck in the off. zone he just cruises like its no big thing and with Bert/Nassy on the ice at the same time, we are almost doomed if our D-men get in trouble because they are busy skating lazily and half tieing up their man.

but i guess karl has valid points about the goalie who are you really gunna get.. personally I'd use Clout over Auld next season if we can't get a worthwhile goalie. Im pretty sure crawford will, hes smart enough to know whos better. then again, either one we use we are doomed in the playoffs anyway ? neither is stanley cup material. Auld=maybe in 2+years.

Thats why I said GIVE HIM NEW LINEMATES because its obviously having an effect on him considering the first half of the season he was doing it practically by himself.

With the right linemates he'll have some fire in him again cause the skill is still there. Bertuzzi can go anywhere.

Im confident that Theodore will be back in form by next season.
