If I did then this idea would have been nothing than a thought.

Now I have taken it to the end of the journey and made an idea reality and all I can say is if I can do it so can you.

Here is the latest update in my quest to create a gauge pod that does not exist for an Audi.

As promised the first samples of the pod arrived today! You could say I was just a bit excited to hold one in my hands.

Anyhow I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Please note that these samples ARE NOT the final production version. These were made for me to test fit in my car to make sure everything fits as per the rapid prototype.

When I approve this stage they will make a colour and texture matched sample for me to approve before final production.

Here are pictures of the pod installed in my car with my gauge in place. I will hopefully have it all wired up tomorrow and I'll post pics of it in use.

I don't know what else to say that hasn't already been said during this journey. [:)]

I have test fit my pod and it fits all A3 and B6/B7 A4 steering columns.
