Puppy got his cast off!

After 5 weeks his special day is FINALLY here! It has been a long month or so trying to keep him from biting it off (which he did succeed a couple times, landing himself some extra visits to the vet) not to mention preventing him from jumping around on it too much, he is a free little man! Barley is all healed up and it was worth every penny and every trip to the vet! His little leg looks a bit pathetic and feeble compared to the other one right now but it should size up and go back to normal in a week or 2. HOORAY!!!

^yes we should! I think he has had quite the celebration on his own too he got a huge cookie from his doctor and I gave him a beggin' strip at home. what a little porker!

Once he gets his last set of shots coming up very soon I can start taking him for lots more walks and park visits and he can finally meet other doggies! I am so happy for my little guy. He is growing up so nicely. Time is sure flying by with him. Pretty soon he will be an old man hehe.

haha I love it! I talk about my kitty like that too. :) My lil guy.. awh! It's amazing how animals are so human like to us. We are lucky :)

good to hear, I was heartbroken when I read up your first thread. I know how it would feel if poor sasha broke a bone, hell I thought I did a couple times myself.

wizzfish- hell no the bitch is cheap and ignorant. totally cut that's for sure!

sophie- I know and I don't know about your little Trevor but my little Barley sure likes to think he's a human. sleeps with us under blankets a lot and uses his front paws like hands as much as he is able. Silly boy!

haha omg i know! Lil Trevanowsky talks to us. Like for real. We will ask him questions and he totally answers back. And he sits on chairs and eats his dinner with us and he loves baths. Which is soooo odd. He's my lil baby!

but ok back to being happy for the lil Barley :) Im excited that he gets to go on walks again with you.

haha aww that's so awesome a cat liking baths. I had a cat that would talk to us when I was a kid. I swear she would be trying to tell us stories. I love animals! Barley doesn't like baths very much but if I'm in the shower and my fiance isn't home or vice-versa he barks until one of us puts him in the bath so he can stand in there while we shower. So strange but I think it's really cute. He doesn't like being alone what so ever! I wonder what he does when we both are gone haha.

^my cat used to come in the shower with me all the time....or sit on the edge of the bathtub when i was having a bath.

hahaha I think a lot of animals do it. Even when I take baths too Barley will come in and bark at me or just sit in the bathroom with a toy until I get out. Animals are awesome how they just love you unconditionally as long as they live and are so loyal. People who say cats aren't like that don't know what they are talking about becuase I know so many cats that are extremely loving and loyal... They just sometimes show it differently than dogs do.

I think if they get used to water at a young age it doesn't bother them. Plus mine was such a fiend for attention, she followed me everywhere.

Hooray :)
That means we should all meet at a park (us and Ringo) soon being that we have my moms dog at our house now to there would be to many of us lol!
We can take them to this fenced off dog park and let them run :)
