Terminator 1 and 2, Teenage mutant ninja turtles, and Wolfenstein 3d were pinacle parts of my youth. Fueled my need to blow things up, including almost my hand, and start fires. Wolf 3d had the killer graphics and blood that the media was telling us that we should never be able to see, so of course it was our mission to seek it out. Other big influences, Nirvana and Smashing pumpkins, i'm sure you all know the names of the albulms. Guns and Roses, Ice cube, snoop dogg pound, dre. etc.



Also high priorities was finding a kid who had something called "internet" not sure what that was all about.

Some of the embarrasing things were: magic the gathering, which usually ended up in cheating and fighting, and POGS, which usually ended up in cheating and fighting. Also Pet shop boys and all the dance hits. Skater bowl cuts, which lasted on my cranium until grade 10.

lol i remember some kids sported the kris kriss brand pants. All the backside stitching was done on the front side but the zipper was still there so you could front like you were kris kros without actually putting your pants on backwards

Fads I personally participated in- Totally rocked the button fly (it just had to be button fly or else *lol*) green jeans, and the purple ones and stopped wearing anything neon. Teased my bangs. Was just getting over the whole NKOTB thing, and getting into Kriss Kross. Loved my Doc Martins. Watched 90210 and Blossom too I think. That 'hair mascara' stuff (came in pink, purple, etc) that put funky coloured streaks in your hair till you washed it out.
Does anyone else remember those hard plastic soothers that everyone wore or maybe that was just at my high school?? They had them on necklaces and earrings.
