I think and strongly believe that having a company throwing an annual such as the $1 party they do down in Seattle. Am I the only one that thinks that this could strongly boost the Vancouver scene??

all it takes is the desire to do it :)

you have to convince all the dj's to play for free, and convince the venue owners that is a good idea.

it hasnt been easy, but its sure been a fun ride :)


the whole point of this party is to boost the rave scene, and really hype up our local dj's.

how often can local dj's headline in front of a couple thousand people IN THEIR HOME TOWN!!

so its a party for EVERYBODY, and usually every one is all smiles :)

we had something similiar once. it was called apex, but now tickets are $15

(not hating, apex is best party of the year really, i love it. just sayin)

i remember when scotty sold the first 50 tickets to whistle this for $3

that's usually around the time that you think that, though.

I've been raving since 98 and I think the scene's doing just fine. Commercial parties are expensive and always have been. but that's not to say that if you're willing to make the effort there are no cheap/free parties to go to in Vancouver.

I not really complaining tho, just be glad that we got to enjoy those times when partying was at its very peak. And enjoy what we have available now, which still isnt too bad really.
