Totaly depends. Minimal bathing suit tans are ok becuase youll only see them where your naked. Im not a big fan of string lines over a girls shoulder/chest. Girls tanning toplesss shouldnt be hard... so really the only excetable tan line is your bum. Anything else is totaly wack!

I think you also have to have the right colour tone of a tan line. Red burnt skin with bright white lines in nasty. However having more of a faded gradual tan line can often help make your tan look way draker and sexyer.

Man, I thought that being in sun-less Britain would get rid of my arm tan, so at least I'd be white all over.

But apparently 3 months working outdoors in an Australian Summer has made my lower arms permanently brown ish.

PERMANENT TAN LINE :-o

I think that some tan lines aren't bad but if it's really harsh, then they are just annoying. I usually get a couple from my bikini but I try to make it as even as possible.

When I lived in White Rock , I had perma tan , because i would chill out on the patio or go to the beach when ever i had the chance. In the winter I would go to the tanning beds a few times a month to keep it up, due to my ultra pasty european white skin. So far this summer i haven't had a chance to catch any signifigant rays. I have a farmers tan on my left arm , and the right side of my face from driving. My neck is burnt from welding UV's and the rest of my body is a sickly shade of pasty white. Despite the skin cancer , having a tan is the shit. Am i becoming a metro?

not true, us people do get tanned. I got darker from working outside, and i have a tshirt tanline. suxxxxxxxxx
