Mac Users!.....HELP.

oK so ive been running mac os 10.3.8 for the longest time. running smoothly. no problems

then for some dumb reason i patch my powermac into the internet for a software update to 10.3.9 yeah,,,....

now everything is all buggerd up and alot of my apps like, itunes,quicktime,reason wont load up....wtf???

is there anyway that i can revert back to 10.3.8 and before all this nonsense?

please help.

no idea :( i'm running 10.4.7 and haven't had any problems.

try calling one of the mac stores? west world or mac station or simply.. they're usually good with help for little things like that over the phone :)

ya im running 10.4 with no probs. cant help u there. if you have ur AppleCare just go get it checked out, as long as the download was legal you should be fine.

my laptop has been fucking up royally. but i took it for serviceing. and they did something, and its been working fine for now. they said to bring it back after the long weekend.

it would just turn off by itself. like constantly.

Nope not overheating. over heating is not a problem. Theres something wrong with the Battery which causes a power surge which turns the system off. Im taking it back on tuesday tho to get it fixed.

did you check out the battery recall notice? maybe yours is one of the faulty ones.

yup! mine is one of the faulty ones, thats why i have to take it back on Tuesday, its either that, or something wrong with the mainboard, there was a recall on that too, but its not been fixed yet. but mac is aware of the problem.
