WOW.

holy mother of pearl.....wow.

this film is absolutly beautiful.

defintaly aimed to the more 'cereberal' movie goer. so many interesting interpertations of it all over the net.

im still trying to digest it all....great movie.

That movie was amazing, I think it's definitely one of those you have to see again to fully appreciate and understand it. I know I want to, I'll probably catch some things I missed the first time around that got lost in my tears. (LAWL)

Beautiful imagery, and the script was awesome. So many stellar quotes that would apply to so much about life... mayan concepts and ancient techniques... ahhh it fascinates and pleases those who seek knowledge about the past to better the future and to understand why it is the way it is today...

its lighting up rotten tomatoes and imdb chat and such.

people debateing what exactly it all 'means'.

i think its the most challenging, eloquent movie ive seen in a really long time.

the last for me was donnie darko.

beautiful movie... through and through...

from the reviews I've read people were getting all angry that they couldn't "understand" it but you know, its leaves so much to imagination and interpretation... sad to see so many people beat this movie down because the movie was too challenging...

one of very few movies I was totally speechless about after... (requiem for a dream being another one of those movies)

edit: I think another reason why this movie got bad reviews is that how it was advertised/promoted made it out to be a different movie than what it actually is... I think a lot of people were expecting way more sci-fi...

Darron Aronofsky is a great director. He hasn't done much, but Requiem For a Dream was more than enough to warrant acclaim. I'm definately looking forward to this.

I hated Requiem for a Dream. I have a feeling I'd hate this too. I think the subject matter is intriguing, but it's probably going to be done with a pompous, overblown style that will make me loathe it.

But of course I can't really talk smack unless I see it. Then again, I'll never get the 2hrs back from Requiem for a Dream so maybe I won't bother.
