Interesting choice on who they got to play Joker.


Christian Bale .... Bruce Wayne/Batman

Heath Ledger .... The Joker

Michael Caine .... Alfred Pennyworth

Gary Oldman .... Lt. James Gordon

As a comic book reader/fan I'm actually disappointed with this choice.... not so much in Ledger being chosen for the role but the fact that they chose to go the route of the joker again. There are so many good Batman villains that haven't been done yet!!

Not to say that the film won't be good as I'm sure it will be great but I sure would have loved to see some of the other Arkham Asylum baddies.... hell they should do the Arkham Asylum TPB story as a movie!

I'm a huuuuuge batman fan and I really think Christian Bale did a decent job in Batman Begins. He needed to work on his Batman voice a bit- let's hope he did!

Nobody can do a better joker than Nicholson, except Mark Hamill who does the voice in the animated series. Michael Cane is a great Alfred.

and I'm cool with anyone BUT Joel Schumacher making another Batman movie!

^I disagree Myra... I'm sure someone can pull off a better Joker! I know that when I went to watch Batman Begins I said 'No way will anyone be better than Michael Keaton... no way!'

I walked out saying 'Fuck that.... Christian Bale kicked ass!'

I think Jude Law would have been an awesome Joker... there was a mock up I saw of him as the Joker and it looked amazing. The best real life adaptation of the Joker I've ever seen for sure! He's got the lean build of Joker and the face isn't much of a stretch with the right make-up too.
