Shutter ( ... scary Thai movie )

Now I'm a seasoned horror fan, and it's safe to say it takes more then a haunted video tape of a ring to jolt me, but wow did this movie scare the shit out of me. Throw in a half decent storyline that's more then just a slasher trying to kill people, and you have a classic.

Has so many jump out of your seat moments, highly recommend!

I've seen a bit of this movie.. intense indeed. My tastes still lean towards Vincent Price/Bela Lugosi films for horror though. As far as foreign go, though.. Takashi Miike is still my favourite.

Yeah I have actually, and more then anything I just found them disgusting. I mean for a gore fest I don't think anything in the world, even Takashi Miike's films, come close to the Guinea Pig series. Although they're not neccesarily scary, more just shocking.

supposedly the first Guinea Pig movie (Flowers of flesh and blood?) was so realistic, actor Charlie Sheen thought it was a real murder and contated the MPAA, who contacted the FBI and Guinea Pig had to prove that it was all special effects. :p

if you like foreign movien somewhat creepy movie, i suggest oldboy... really good stuff.

Old Boy wasn't creepy, just a bit messed up.

BTW, Shutter is one of my favorite horror movies. Check out The Three and The Three: Extremes
