The orignal Batman fo sho. Jack Nicholson was perfect as the Joker. Batman Begins was good as well. Batman Returns would be third.

Batman Forever and especially Batman and Robin were terrible.

batman forever RUUUUUULED!!!

BATMAN FOREVER RULED. it was so bizzare and stylized. carey was awsome, the whole concept of his tv machien was cool, tommy lee jones was excelent, nicole kidman was hot, chris o'donnel was alright and Val kilmer was a douce bag.

plus it had a killer soundtrack singel from U2.

JULY 1995 was the shit
You're right, I stand corrected. I still can't stand Val Kilmer as batman though.

I heard the guy that directed batman begins is also going to make the next one? Maybe that's just an amazing rumor, but that would be neat.

^ i agree, the art direction of Batman Forever was really fantastic; i think that's what stood out to me the most. It's a pretty solid movie!

but the best batman flicks is definately a tie up between Tim Burtons films and Batman Begins.

Batman and Robin is just a joke. I saw it the other day.... so fucking bad.

werd. while the plot was fresh and relavent it fell apart with Joel Schumacher spin on the batman franchise.

Schumacher ruined batman. George Clooney as Batman? Wtf seriously.

Christopher Nolan picked up where Burton left off... Looking forward to "The Dark Night" also directed by Nolan out in '08.

keaton's explosion by the fireplace is one of my all time favorite scenes.

2 different era's so its kind of hard to pick one. Batman, and Batman begins would have to be the obvious 2 choices, but i'm not sure which one is better.

i'll vote for a tie.
