Favorite Batman movie?

I finally brought myself to see Batman begins over the weekend (being sick+batman marathon=rad.) which was horrible of me seeing as how Batman is my super hero boyfriend.

Anyways, I was so amazed by the movie. It didn't take long for me to get over Christian Bale as being the same guy humping and talking about Huey Lewis and the News in American Psycho. I thought it was just amazing, I loved how dark it was and I thought it was a very well done Batman movie.

I'd say in choosing your favorite, it would have to be a toss up between Batman Begins or the Burton era Batman or Batman returns.

It's a toss up for me, I always loved the og Batman, Keaton is great as Bats (although sometimes I look at him and still see Beetlejuice) and I love Jack Nicholson as joker, I also love any movie Tim Burton has done. I also remember lining up for hours when I was little just to wait to see it and being so stoked when it came on. Batman Begins is much more dramatic and deep and definitely something that would have even been worth going to the theatres for.

I liked the one that had Peguin and Catwomen in it, I liked Michelle Pfiffer in that one. But I love Batman begins. I think they are planning on reshooting all the batman movies with Christian Bale as Batman

I heard the guy that directed batman begins is also going to make the next one? Maybe that's just an amazing rumor, but that would be neat.

Someone mentioned all the movies being redone with Christian Bale as Batman. I havnt seen or heard anything about this.

Read it in one of those entertainment magazines that they have at the theatres and they said they were in the plans, don't know when it's going to be or if they will actually follow through though, haven't heard anything since

I'd say my two favourites are "Batman" and "Batman Begins".

I leave "Batman Returns" off my list for the simple fact that Michelle Pfifer annoyed the hell out of me.

The imagery and Nicholson's performance are the two things that made "Batman" for me, other than that I really didn't think Keaton was all that great as Batman.

The reason "Batman Begins" is so great is the fact that it goes back to the "Dark Knight" storylines, which have always been my favourite storylines involving Batman. I thought Cillian Murphy was great as the Scarecrow, and I'm sorry Myra, he's a great actor. Christopher Nolan did an amazing job with the direction of the film, he's done some amazing work since his break-through with "Momento".

As far as what's coming next, it's going to follow the "Dark Knight" storyline even closer. I can't see this movie deviating from the grittiness of "Begins". It will develop the lineage between Batman and The Joker as well as beginning the back line story between Harvey Dent and Batman.

I liked the Original one with Keaton and Nicholson as well. Had alot of humor to it as well as a good story.

The second one bored the heck out of me aside from the penguins in the sewers with rockets on their backs.

BATMAN FOREVER RULED. it was so bizzare and stylized. carey was awsome, the whole concept of his tv machien was cool, tommy lee jones was excelent,nicole kidman was hot,chris o'donnel was alright and Val kilmer was a douce bag.

plus it had a killer soundtrack singel from U2.

JULY 1995 was the shit
