My ex boyfriend had Aspergers, he was brilliant and smarter than anyone I've ever met.
He had some issues with social situations and communication was somewhat difficult for him but other than that you can learn to really adapt with Aspergers - he definitely used it to his advantage.

People with aspergers are very detail oriented and if they can train themselves to adjust in social situations they're really one up on everybody else.

I know a kid who is diagnosed with aspergers and will do anything they can to avoid being with kids who are labeled "handicap" or "disabled". Like lush said I dont know if you really want to call it a disability... although I dont like saying anyone has a disability as we are all able in our own ways.

I will have to tune in this week as I find the characteristics of ppl who have aspergers quite interesting. I can only imagine putting a girl with aspergers in a cat fight scenario deadly for both parties. However because ppl with aspergers dont pick up social cues, symbolism, or metaphoric meaning as well as most ppl... the girl could pass by the social drama like nothing happened.

In all seriousness when I was a TA there was an autistic girl in the class and I had to have extra training by the school district to learn how to interact and assist her. However, in a more legal sense it is a disability but I understand that individuals don't like tht term.

No Aspergers is a high functioning form of autism - dealing with someone with full out autism is a lot different than dealing with someone with aspergers.

throwing my 2 cents in on the Asperger's thing...

Rhia is right about the whole not being able to interpret non-verbal cues thing. One of my closest friends and my stepfather both have Asperger's (wow, go improbability, lol) and in my observation I think it would make a situation like ANTM harder, not easier, because in making an effort to interpret things they can often end up taking it entirely in the wrong ways. I haven't watched this season, but now I'm interested to, to see how she deals with the social and other aspects.

My thoughts on the remaining girls:

AMBREAL: yawn, she reminds me of Mo from CNTM (cycle 2), nothing too intriguing.

BIANCA: She looks just like Bre (cycle 5) and Brandy (the singer), they should keep her away from weaves and wigs, because the shaved head is working for her.

CHANTAL: I LOVE her makeover! It makes her look less trashy.

EBONY: I really want to like her, she's a sob story like Tiffany (cycle 4) and Tyra will probably give her more chances than anyone else (except for maybe the plus size girl or Heather)

HEATHER: BEAUTIFUL girl, could be editing, or it could be the Aspergers, but her eyes are looking off in all her chosen pictures.

JANET: So much hotter with the dark hair.

JENAH: Something about her is so bland, but she does take pretty pictures.

LISA: She reminds me of Alicia Keys, Jade (cycle 6?), Naima (cycle 4), I love the exotic, multi-ethnic look she has going.

SALEISHA: She looks a lot like the crazy nurse on Scrubs and Felicia from last cycle. I think the bangs are cute on her, but the mushroom cut needs some shape. Cute and commercial, would be good for cover girl.

SARA: I wish they would stop bringing on plus size girls. Granted this girl isn't really plus size, plus size, she's not going to be the next Twiggy or Kate Moss, she's not going to revolutionalize the modeling world. Her look is dull and her photos bore me to death. If they had Janice on panel still, there is no way they would have so many cycles of plus sizes.

Thoughts on ANTM:
They should just call this "Tyra Banks shitty talk show content generator" It's all sob stories and self-serving for Tyra. She has to be one of the most self-consumed TV celebrities out there,
