This game is a geek's wet dream. Fantastic blend of sci-fi RPG and a little bit of shooter. The story elements are fantastic. If you're one of those people who tend to skip through dialogue scenes then this one might be better left on the shelf though because dialogue is a HUGE piece of this game.

The biggest peeve is the framerate lags and some clipping issues but with what they've packed on to this disc it's not all that surprising.

In the end this thing plays out like a movie. I'd recommend turning the subtitles off to help enhance the movie feel. The fact that it's supposed to be the first in a trilogy is super exciting too... bring on the sequels!

Bioware is hands down one of the most solid companies in gaming. Half of my surviving collection is made by them.

This game is really good. Clipping issues are predominant throughout the game, but it's totally worth it... Can't wait for Jade Empire 2 now!!!

Right in the middle of this. A lot of minor issues, but overall fucking amazing. If you are interested in shooters or RPG's get this right away.

Also wanted to add, always love how you can play the character anyway you want in Bioware games.

My guy, John DudeRock, the badass renegade with a heart of gold is a blast to play.

I know this is late, but I finally got around to this game (I have too many games :\). Loving it but the driving mechanism in it feels so awkward! I'm playing out my renegade bitch character for the first time around.

Favourite team combinations? I'm currently playing my soldier (strength) with Tali (tech) and Liara (biotics). I was originally playing with Garrus (strength/tech) and Wrex (strength/biotics) but found it too unbalanced with my soldier being so strength focused) - I just didn't have the proper back up.

Towards the end it doesn't matter who you have in your party the game gets really really easy.

Leading me to have the menage a trois party. INTER RACIAL AND INTER SPECIES, I should write a letter to penthouse.
