Omega Drivers

Let's talk about my problem first

Downloaded GTA San Andreas

new updated drivers from the NVidia website

Game loads - the entire gameplay is WAYYYYYYYY to fast, even on max resolutions, everything high.
I tried the first mission (the bmx)
it was going too fast, the controller was unresponsive and everything around me was speeding fast

let's just say the timer.. was on meth.


So now a friend has advised omega drivers, i dont think it will work.. but i'll try it out, can anyone reccommend what my issue might be?

AMD Dual core 4.2, 256mb 7600 GT, DX 9.c, 1.5 gigs of ram.

Prince Of persia doesnt
NFS Most Wanted doesnt

I know jim know's dick about computers, but everytime I see a response I always think to myself there's some helpful input.

If so, i was soooo not paying attention :)
