So I'm feeling like playing some bad company this morning. Turn on my PS3 and problem. The discs dont show up, the demo's do. Tried all my games, not even going to fuck around with it.
Any PS3 users have the same issue?

I can surf, download demos, etc, but I cannot play. It's a media center now.

Fuck Sony, Fuck 360, Good ol PC is the way to go.

Luckily though, i have an extremely kick ass pc, so rather than spend another $500 on a console, i'll just pick up a quad core mobo and a quad core processor.

having the ps2/ps3 in the vertical position wears out the lenses track motor, happened to my ps2 way back. try it horizontal

The game first crashes, then when restarted, it wont read.

Then I left alone, window is open all the time, lots of breathing space for it.

So how is that not taking care of electronics? If you search it, I'm not the first person that's seen this.

I dunno dude. But there's something going on here. How many consoles in under six months? And one of them was a Nintendo product - a company known for ridiculously reliable hardware. Either you have the worst luck of anybody I've ever heard of or you're doing something wrong.
