did you guys play any other mods... DOD was kinda cool. TFC was alright once in a while. and actual half life was fun... running around as Hitler with the sniper cross-bow :D

I stopped playing after I disconnected my ADSL. CS was good... I played it all the time when it first came out. Give me an AK-47 and let me loose. :D But alas, with 56k I'm limited to Yahoo Pool. lol

yea old times in cd were definatly the fun days. i used to be a cs addict but once steam came out i got pissed off at how gay it was and stopped playing. i went from playing it hours on end to having no urge what so ever to even play it even if i was sitting here on my computer with shit all to do

OK I played Half Life then Opposing Forces then Team Fortress then Fire Arms and finally settled on CS. This little Valve experiment went on for almost 5 years. I was personally ranked in the top 100 in North America and the CS Clan that I was involved with was #4 in North America for almost 10 months before we split up. I can honestly say I think I was one fo the largest CS supporters ever but one day the game started to get stupid and before long there were so many hackers it just wasn't enjoyable anymore. The whole premise of the game changed. It was no longer a game about who was the better players and encouraged others to learn from them but instead turned into a hacking cheaters game. From one of the best games of all time on my list right to the bottom in a matter of months. I have yet to find a game that has given me as much enjoyment as this game had but I have not tried out BFV yet. I have heard mixed opinions on this game ranging from great gameplay down to disappointing graphics. But by what I have heard here maybe I should give it a shot. Anyways thats my words on CS.
