Movie had potential to be amazing... but they they went a fucked it up by making it PG
and the water fight scene was shit also.. the rest of the movie was pretty sweet though

were real people...
no computers were used to generate the armies at all.

this movie isnt made to be aim at the western world of bang bang bloody action types. Its more of a theatrical movie which tells a story thru beauty and grace.

i cant believe how many ppl bitch about the water scene... it wasnt meant to "cool" and awe the audience. The chinese use flying and being lighter then water to express the equilibrium of mind and soul of the human spirit to the earths nature and it's energy

Loved it. Fan fucking tastic.

Arrow scene with the calligraphy was fucking awesome... As was the spectacle outside.

I personally get annoyed when all there is to a movie is martial arts. It kinda downtrods the imagination to the point where you're not seeing anything new. Sure stuff like Rumble In The Bronx and Sister Street Fighter are fun, but it's nice to see stuff like this on the live action end and stuff like Myazaki on the animated end still making visually stunning movies without jumping the shark like with everything Hollywood seems to want to be putting out.

This was a fantastic movie.
