Has anyone played this version yet?
very smooth.... I quite enjoy it.

Use to play tons of it, 1.6 was pretty nice with all the new weapons. Im scared that if i get into it again, i wont focus on my schooling/life :(

I think source is stoopid, I had it but found myself playing 1.6 much more often..

so what are the different versions of cs right now? i play cz on my buddy's comp once in a while, and i think my other buddy has source.

CS: Source runs on the Source engine. Same engine that runs HalfLife2. You'll get cool looking water, and the real looking physics from animate objects.

IMO, I don't like the game at all. Skins on the models are repeated through the whole team, and the maps just don't cut it.

I agree the skins and maps are kinda ass but hell Im still addicted to the game. I have never been a fan of the CS series till source. The only things I really wish for are being able to hop around like a bunny and faster reaction times when you are shot..

Yeah I agree. Still playing 1.6 cause Source is just too slow and buggy.
