^^^^jj is a POWERHOUSE hand at that point of the tourney. the hand values sky rocket at that point. having another player at the table with kk is just bad luck.
how the hell do you get jj suited grapes??? i played a tourney at river rock on wedensday. 165 people 30 dollar buy in and rebuys for the first hour. made it to the final 3 tables in 25th. pretty happy with it since i was on an hour sleep. gonna place in the money real soon....

i ended up losing a bill, rough day there
i was playing well but i was getting robbed on the river, especially after putting a lot of money in the pot. but whatever thats how it goes, there's always next weekend

2-4, though a couple pots were straddled
i lost a big hand with pocket j's to pocket q's. got the full house from the flop, a j and 2 6's, ended up going heads up with a guy who kept raising me, turned a 3, and a q came up on the river. i lost $30+ on that hand
